Joy became part of the support team in 2003 in Mochdre a little village in mid Wales. Sge helped care for Bill her brother in law in his final year of life as he fought terminal blood cancer. Bill was the big brother she would have chosen and she loved him dearly. She  shared the task of driving him several times a week to shrewbury hospital for blood transfusions & chemo treatment which was a challenging venture with a brother in law who insisted she put her foot down on all those country roads. We’ve laughed & cried about all the antics in equal measure over the years so many meaningful moment over the 45 years of knowing one another.

So Diolch yn fawr my lovely sister in law for all the love and support down the years and especially the time you gave to us in Wales so I could carry on working and bringing in the bread. I hope I paid back my debt to you in some small way over the following 20 years. You’ve earned your eternal peaceful rest my friend ❤️
